Niger State PPP Agency Gives Vent to Governor’s Charge on Expedited Projects Implementation.
….Embarks on Inspection Tour of Ongoing Project
As part of the drive to give implementation force to the infrastructure component of the #NewNiger initiative of the Farmer–Governor Umaru Mohammed Bago Development Agenda, the Niger State Public Private Partnerships Agency and its counterpart, the Niger State Internal Revenue Service have undertaken an assessment tour to inspect the progress of work at the ongoing Construction of the phase 1 section of the Head Office complex of NGSIRS at David Mark Road Minna, Niger State.
During the inspection tour, which was carried out in the company of the developer, Larix Construction Company Ltd. the Coordinator visited Alhaji Madami Etsu, Chairman of the Niger State Internal Revenue Services, to gauge the project’s status, to reinvigorate it for consistent service delivery in collaboration with the developer on site.
The PPP also paid a courtesy visit to the Niger State Commissioner for Industry, Trade & Investment, Alhaji Aminu Takuma, alongside the private sector development partner.
Expressing gratitude to the delegation for the visit, the Commissioner commended the Niger State Public Private Partnerships Agency’s efforts in revitalizing PPP projects. He pledged professional support and advisory services, emphasizing his commitment to handling agency-related documents and ensuring promising investment opportunities for the state.
The NGSIRS building, a property of the Niger State Internal Revenue Services is being developed by Larix construction company under the coordination of the PPP Agency.
The inspection tour is being undertaken to give vent to the charge by Farmer–Governor Bago for expedited action on all ongoing projects and the revitalization of moribund ones to align with the administration’s transformation agenda.
The visits underscore the Coordinator Saidu Etsu’s dedication to the New Niger investments agenda of the Niger State government.
