NIGER STATE PUBLIC- PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP AGENCY

The Public Private Partnership Agency (PPPA) in Niger State was established in 2007, and operates under the 2011 PPPA Law to tackle infrastructure challenges. Aligned with the state’s Vision 3:2020, the agency facilitates, regulates, and oversees PPP endeavors to advance institutional and infrastructural progress. Acknowledging the pivotal contribution of the private sector to economic expansion, PPP is deemed indispensable for sustainable development in Niger State. Serving as an efficient nexus for PPP initiatives, the agency fosters synergy between governmental bodies and private investors to overcome financial constraints and bureaucratic obstacles. Its overarching objective is to demonstrate the efficacy of PPP in realizing Niger State’s broader developmental aspirations.

Mohammed Etsu Champions Inter-Agency Collaboration, Visits NNDP The Coordinator of Niger State Public Private Partnerships Agency Mohammed Saidu Etsu, says his agency is working to foster inter-agency relationships to facilitate private sector projects and investments in the state. To this end, and as part of the NSPPPA Coordinator’s ongoing efforts to collaborate with key stakeholders in the state to drive development, he paid a courtesy visit on the Chairman of the NNDP Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha Bida, to deepen relations on the New Niger Development Project.
